Use of our website
Our website is an online store with other pages available to you, the customer, to access such as information on our products and cause. These terms and conditions apply to your use of Fodilicious.com including our online store and other services that we offer.
Fodilicious Limited is a company registered in Scotland and our registered office in based in Edinburgh. We operate from Unit 6 Carmondean Business Units, Carmondean Centre, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 8PT. Our company registration number is SC573037. The information provided on our website is not medical advice, or a substitute for medical treatment. Fodilicious recipes and meal products have been UKAS accredited laboratory tested and are fit for consumption for the general public. They have also been tested for the food allergens we state on this website. All our recipes have been approved by our Dietitian, Lesley Reid, a registered dietitian who specialises in the Low FODMAP diet and gut related illnesses and is an approved dietitian with the British Dietetic Association and Health & Care Professions Council
A selection of our meals have been ‘Fodmap Friendly’ certified by the The FODMAP Friendly certification program, incorporating the Fodmap Friendly logo, the only registered certification trademark worldwide certifying FODMAP levels in food products that have been laboratory tested to be low in FODMAP’s. It is designed to enable consumers with symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) who are following a Low FODMAP diet to easily identify and select suitable packaged food products. This easily recognisable “FODMAP Friendly” logo assists people with such symptoms to shop and eat with confidence.
We provide freshly prepared low FODMAP, gluten-free and dairy-free convenience foods. All our products are delivered fresh and can be frozen by you.
- The images of our products displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Therefore we cannot guarantee that the computer’s display of our products provide a true reflection of product’s colour, and the weighting of our products may differ from the images displayed on our website.
- All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute certain products with a suitable alternative contained in your order during certain circumstances.
By placing an order via our website, you declare that:
- You are aged 18 years or over
- You are legally capable of entering into contracts
- You are a resident of the United Kingdom and access our site from the United Kingdom
Once you have placed an order through our website, we will acknowledge your order by sending you an e-mail order confirmation. Please not that this does not mean that your order has been accepted by us. We may refuse to accept an order due to certain circumstances, for example, if we cannot authorise payment or if you are not eligible to purchase our products.
The contract between us will begin once we accept your order, where we will send you an e-mail which confirms that the products have been dispatched (dispatch confirmation). Only products which have been confirmed in the dispatch confirmation will form part of the contract. If we are unable to supply you with your chosen product, we will inform you by e-mail and will not process your order. If you have already paid for the product, we will refund you.
Prices of all our products are quoted on our website and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We take care in ensuring our pricing displayed on our website is accurate, however it is possible that details are out of date and incorrectly priced. As part of the order process, we will check prices as part of our procedures. Delivery charges will be stated clearly when you order products from our website, and are in addition to the price of our products which you have purchased from us.
Your order will be delivered to the address specified and on the delivery date set out in the dispatch confirmation email. You will receive notification from our courier company of expected delivery times on the day through text/email notifications. It is your responsibility to ensure that a person is present on the day of delivery. You will have the option to leave the parcel in a ‘safe place’ of your choice. If you choose to have your parcel delivered to a ‘safe place’ of your choice, we will cease to have any liability to the products once the courier has completed the delivery of your parcel.
The courier company will not deliver the parcel if no one is present to accept the delivery, or if no safe place is specified. In this case, the parcel will be disposed due to food safety, and health and safety reasons and no refund will be issued.
Any restrictions of our delivery areas are displayed on our Delivery information section. We aim to deliver your order within the timescales noted in your dispatch confirmation, however if no delivery date is specified, we will deliver within 30 days of dispatch confirmation.
Please inform us within 48 hours of receiving delivery if your products are damaged, and we will send a replacement as appropriate.
As our products are perishable, we do not accept returns or product exchanges.
Please note, we do not deliver outside the United Kingdom.
If you have chosen to take a subscription package with us, which are the repeat delivery to you of your chosen number of meals, will continually proceed until cancelled by you or us.
You may cancel your subscription after you have fully received the initial minimum commitment by giving us 4 working days prior notice which will allow us to cancel the dispatch from our courier service.
If you wish to reschedule delivery or change your selected delivery day, please ensure you give us 4 working days prior notice. If you wish to do so, please contact us through our email email@example.com or by telephone.
If you choose to cancel the subscription before initial minimum commitment period is complete, you will be charged a cancellation fee of £50 in addition to your initial payment of the subscription.
We are committed to protecting your personal details and information when you register with us. Unless otherwise stated by yourself, you give us permission to share your details with carefully chosen third parties, and companies who are involved in the process of your purchase, such as our courier. Please contact us if you wish to disclose any personal details in this case we can change your preferences.
